Resizing a partition?

I'm not sure I quite picture the exact setup here.  You are already
using your max of 7 partitions?  Can you post output of fdisk -l?

Typically what I've done in situations where you can't create any
additional partitions is to expand the Extended partition and then
expand the last logical partition within the extended partition and
then use LVM to do stuff with it.  This assumes a few things about your
current layout, so... :)
