PE 1950 CentOS 5 Missing memory?

Marc,
It sounds like you may have one of the memory "raid" configurations
enabled in the system's BIOS.
You should check the bios configuration for memory sparing, or memory
raid, or redundant memory, or memory mirroring (although not expecting
this since you see 12 of 16 instead of 8 of 16) but you get the idea.
;-)
It should be under the 'memory information' option, i believe.
