SNMP in RHEL 5 - service stop automaticly

I'm assuming you installed net-snmp-libs as well.
If you have 5.0 installed, why are you using lm_sensors and net-snmp
from update 2?
Look at /etc/snmp/snmpd.options and turn on some debugging.
