system + RAC interfaces w/ single cable?

Thanks for the tip, Ryan. I've been looking into this, and as far as I can
tell you must be talking about the "Shared" NIC Selection option under the
DRAC network settings. From the doc:

"Select this option to share the network interface with the host operating
system. The remote access device network interface is fully functional when
the host operating system is configured for NIC teaming. The remote access
device receives data through NIC 1 and NIC 2, but transmits data only
through NIC 1. If NIC 1 fails, the remote access device will not be accessible."

This sounds like it'd be perfect. However, I'm not sure how to setup "NIC
teaming". I do see some mention of it in the other documentation that came
on the OpenManage CDs, but it appears to be describing bonding two NICs
together from the OS point of view. This isn't quite what I want to do
here, is it? My understanding of bonding is that two separate NICs are tied
together such that the OS sees them as one, either for redundancy or
performance reasons. However, the DRAC interface is separate from the OS,
so this doesn't seem right.

Am I missing something here? How am I supposed to set this up?

Thanks again,
