OpenManage traps not getting to OpenNMS

Hello,
I'm trying to get OpenManage traps into OpenNMS. I've been successful doing
this in Windows, but the Linux config is still eluding me.
Evidently Net-SNMP is able to send traps to OpenNMS, because whenever I
restart Net-SNMP I get a trap in OpenNMS about the service restart. However
I'm not getting an OpenManage traps through to OpenNMS.
I've followed the really old doc as closely as I could
(http://ftp.dell.com/app/1q03-Gil.pdf) although it deals with older versions
of everything. I've also read the Net-SNMP config info for RHEL in the
OpenManage doc
(http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/software/svradmin/5.4/en/ug/pdf/omsa5
4ug.pdf) to verify that all the necessary lines are in snmpd.conf
My questions are these:
1. Is there a log or test to see what is happening between OpenManage and
Net-SNMP?
2. Is there a better way to test trap sending other besides removing the top
panel of the server (causes chassis intrusion trap to be sent)? In the DRAC5
interface there's a "send test trap" button. Not sure if there is something
as simple in OpenManage.
3. Is there a way to relink OpenManage to Net-SNMP or force it to rescan
snmpd.conf do accuracy? I've completely removed and reinstalled OpenManage,
but it didn't seem to make any changes to the file (maybe everything was
correct already).
4. Kind of unrelated. Are there any MIB files (or preconverted OpenNMS event
files) for DRAC5 other than the ones that come with OpenManage? mib2opennms
detects an error in that file and produces a blank XML file.
Thanks,
Chris
