The most current OMSA is 5.3, which I believe added support for the
PERC6. It might not be in the repos, but is available for download on
Dell's website.

Subject: perc6 questions
We have a perc6 based 2950 in house we are testing centos (4.x series)
against.
I download the perc6 DKMS based driver and it works well. We are able
to perform kickstarts and integrate the driver into the available
kernels we have.
I have a couple of questions.
1. The current DellOMSA (5.2 from the dell yum repo) does not recognize
the perc6 controller. This means using DellOMSA we cannot monitor the
hard drives. Is there a newer version coming out (soon?) that supports
it or is there a work around for this?
2. DKMS is cool but is a bit more work than what I want to do due to the
fact we are managing a storage driver (i.e. kickstart requires
driverdisk, rescue would as well, you have to watch the kernels to make
sure they the dkms module installed properly...). Will this driver be
included in an upcoming RHEL point release or kernel update natively?
Thanks,
Steve
