I once fried DRAC firmware, the update failed for some reason. (I guess
the lesson I learned was "don't upgrade your firmware from ESX" or so.)
Anyway: I fixed it, just by running the upgrade (or - I think you can
actually downgrade) again (but then under a temporary RedHat install,
that was easiest at that moment).
It was a different adapter though, maybe even a Perc 5/i... but did you
try that? Apparently the upgrade failed, as your BIOS is still on its
previous level...
