CLI for managment of RAID controller (SAS 5i) on 860

Interesting. I downloaded the sources for mpt-status 1.2.0 and they'll see the SAS 5/iR where as 1.1.6 which comes with debian etch won't. The docs here http://www.drugphish.ch/~ratz/mpt-status/readme.txt say that it now supports the LSI SAS1068 which is what's show in lspci on the PE 1955.

If this sort of thing is what amounts to useful information then you're set, but you can't manipulate the controller afaik without the omsa tools.
