64bit or not ?

Hello,

Not really Dell-Specific, but here goes. 
We have a couple NFS servers, that serve mailboxes to our mailservers
from a SAN. Those servers are old-ish 2850 dual-xeon 2.8Ghz boxes
running Centos4.5 with a coupls fibrechannel adapters. 
These are getting a little bit loaded so we're looking at replacing
those with some quadcore 1950 with 8Gb ram, and now we're not sure
whether to go the 64bit route or not.

Any hints/pointers/opinions/experiences will be welcome.
