PERC 6/i controller and Debian

I'm planning to use Debian Etch 4.0r1 (latest).

 

Still waiting to receive my R900 ;)

Which release of Debian? The support for this controller is in the main line kernel.

I'm planning to buy a new R900 server. I see they come with PERC6 controller.

Does anybody made it work with Debian ?

I only found one driver (published 11/20) that works only with RHE and Suse...
