Disable PERC controller in a running system (Linux)

Thanks for your reply ;-)
I can remove the kernel module and force the kernel to "delete" the
device with something like:
# echo 1 > /sys/block/sdb/device/delete
But still PERC adapter will be available:
# lspci | grep -i lsi
04:04.0 SCSI storage controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c1030
PCI-X Fusion-MPT Dual Ultra320 SCSI (rev 08)
I want to disable completely the card.. perhaps there's a utility to
manage BIOS system's from a running Linux box.
