You can install the OMSA managed node software on both Windows and Linux
servers. The software provides a MIB to SNMP that contains many server
properties, including firmware version (BIOS, RAID card,
Enclosures/Backplanes, Drives, DRAC, BMC) you can then compare these
versions to your desired versions and it will point out which servers
are out of date.
