I woke this morning to the following error:
memprefail
Memory Device on Connector: BANK1_A
Status Noncritical
Device Name BANK1_A
Size 512 MB
Type DDR-SYNCHRONOUS
Speed 3 ns
Failures Single bit warning error rate exceeded
This is my production database server which has been running without a hitch
for two or three years now. The server seems to be chugging along just
fine. Is this something to worry or do anything about?
Should I replace that bank (or both banks) of memory? Could it be a
system-board issue?
Many thanks,
-Hank
