CX340 - Linux expansion

I have a CX340 and I need to expand a disk.  The storage admin has added
extra space to the server as far as the SAN is concerned, but I can't
see the extra disk from the server side.  I am still pretty ignorant of
the whole SAN PV VG LV environment, so I could use a how to or some
simple hints. I have tried various combinations/permutations of
navisphere tools on the Linux box to no avail. Any assistance
appreciated.  Thanks.
