Actually I have the Dell 112T (not 110T) DLT1 VS80 drive 1U unit, don't know if that makes a difference here.

Hi,

I have the Dell 110T DLT VS80 40/80 gig tape drive, and an Adaptec 39160 SCSI card which I just removed from my PE 2650. Tried to install SCSI card in the new 2950 to connect drive to 2950, and lo and behold it don’t fit. My Dell sales rep said he thought it might fit but was not sure. So I need either an adapter to make SCSI card fit, or a new SCSI card.

Anyone know which card to buy? Or can I make the old card fit with an adapter (& save some bucks)? If I must buy a new card, will I also need a new SCSI cable for drive/card combo?

Thanks.
