SAS 6i/R management for FreeBSD

Hi all,

I recently purchased a PE1950 III, featuring a SAS 6i/R controller. It's 
running FreeBSD (RELENG_7), and I'd like to get a way to monitor the 
RAID status.

Contrary to PERC6 which uses the mpi(4) driver, this one uses mpt(4), 
and although it's usable (the mpt driver works fine with it, and the 
virtual drive can be mounted), the traditional MegaCli doesn't 
recognize the controller.

It looks like the SAS 6i/R controller is based on the LSISAS1068E chip, 
for which LSI only provides a Java GUI for Linux and Windows.

Since OpenManage is still not an option with FreeBSD, I was wondering if 
there was any way to manage this controller under a *BSD OS.
