Just mount the CD like you would in RH..

mount /dev/cdrom /mountpoint

Alternatively you may download OMSA from Dell's website, and extract it to a folder on your box. You can also install it via the respository (although I think it only has 5.2.0). Once you have the package extracted, you will need to run linux/supportscripts/srvadmin-install.sh. Since you are using CentOS, you will need to either edit /etc/redhat-release to contain that of a RHEL box, or modify srvadmin-install.sh to allow the "CentOS" string contained in /etc/redhat-release on your CentOS box.

There is plenty of documentation on this list and on Dell's site and wiki (linux.dell.com).

Subject: Installing Open Manage on a PE 2950 centos 5.1 box

Hi,

Can anyone please point me to a step by step procedure to mount from my CD RW the "Systems Console and Agent" disk and run the install script contained on disk to install Open Manage server administrator v 5.3 on new PE 2950 server? I'm nerw to Centos, migrating from an older RH box.

I RTFM for OMSA that shipped with unit, could not find much help there though.

Thanks.
