PE2950 Won't Run Quad-Core CPU

Thanks!  I'll give it a try.

Btw, I believe I downloaded and installed the latest updates for this  
system as they appeared on the Dell support site as of the 4th.  I  
see the update you recommend was just released on the 1st and it's  
listed on the support site as having been posted yesterday.

Finally, I see the BIOS update is specifically intended to address  
issues with the 2950 and 5200 and 5400 series Xeons.  The CPU I'm  
attempting to use is a 5300 series.   In any event, thanks again for  
pointing me at the more recent BIOS revision.
