disable hba detection during install?

What's happening to you may be related to a Qlogic container being
presented as sda on reboot, with the internal disk shoved to sdb (or
lower).  You can fix  that by moving the qlogic alias line below the one
for the internal adapter in modprobe.conf and remaking the initrd.  I've
done this by booting rescue and chrooting to sysimage, but you can
possibly drop to a console prompt at the end of the install and accomplish
that.
