Thanks, this did the trick, along with a couple of other pointers from the
list.
I had to do an "powermt unmanage dev=emcpowera" and b, and then I could
load the file. After a reboot, it came back up with the correct LUNs.
Thanks!

Re: Help with LUNS
hi,
have a look at the binary "emcpadm" which comes with powerpath rpm
package... it's used to rename the pseudo device names:
emcpadm renamepseudo -s <src pseudo device name> -t <tgt pseudo device
name>
In clustered environments you should use the same device device on both
nodes. To achieve this;
on node #1
powermt save file=maps.pp
Then move "maps.pp" file created to node #2 and run
powermt load file=maps.pp

Hello,
I have two PE 2950s running Oracle Enterprise Linux (RedHat variant like
Centos) 5.2. They each have two QLogic Corp. ISP2422-based 4Gb Fibre
Channel to PCI-X HBA (rev 02), and I have installed the
EMCpower.LINUX-5.1.0-194 powerpath RPM. The LUNs come up just fine,
however, they are reversed on the two different machines. That is, in
order for Oracle RAC to be installed, the same LUN must have the same name
on both box. Box 1:
/dev/emcpowera1
/dev/emcpowerb1
/dev/emcpowerb2
/dev/emcpowerb3
Box 2:
/dev/emcpowera1
/dev/emcpowera2
/dev/emcpowera3
/dev/emcpowerb1
So what I would need is to find out where this is configured, where the
powerpath settings are that control the IDs, or even the navicli options
to switch things around.\
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks,
Eric
