Ubuntu 8.04 LTS 64bit

Anyone out there using Ubuntu 8.04 LTS 64bit on a newer 2950 dual proc quad core? I'm having a reliability issue with multipath/iSCSI and not sure where the problem lies. Just want to know if anyone else has similar experiences. I don't have these problems with RedHat or CentOS 5.
