install debian etch on dell poweredge SC1435

Hi,

I'm thinking on buy a dell SC1435 server with two hard disk to configure
RAID 1. In the Dell's site I've seen I need a integrated controller SAS
5/i for Sata and SAS hard disk's and a C5-Add-in SAS RAID1, with a
SAS5iR controller. I don't know much about raid and I'm afraid of having
problems installing Debian Etch on this server. Have anybody installed
any Debian distro on a SC1435 with this configuration?? What is de image
I must to download? am64? (the processor I want to get is Quad Core AMD
Opteron 2350.
