hail again,

surfing the web I found this post: http://pardini.net/blog/2007/06/09/ultimate-debian-etch-vmware-server-setup-16gb-dual-quad-core-dell-2950-with-omsa/, where the author talks about not using amd64 on it, instead the -bigmem debian kernel. did anyone went that way and has anything to say about it ? up to now, I was sure to go amd64, but its still time to change. As I'm more of a FreeBSD user (this linux is work-related), I know more about FreeBSD related issues and I dislike PAE from its standpoint. I'd not use it with FreeBSD, as I saw some people complaining about some drivers. as for linux I'm really out of info.

so, if anyone knows, please share :)

thanks again,

matheus
