Good afternoon everyone. I recently purchased a SATA controller card
for my PowerEdge 1600SC. The card, a Promise SATA300 TX4, has both
"individual" and "aggregate" LED connectors. I'd love nothing more than
to see the volume LED on my server light up when the SATA hard drives
are being accessed; however, the only connector I see on the motherboard
is labeled "front panel" and it's already being used. Is there a way I
can split this particular connector so I can have both the front panel
(power/reset/IDE activity) and the aggregate SATA LED cable connected
simultaneously? Many thanks.
John
