Intel Raid Bios Precision 490?

Has anyone here been able to get CentOS/Redhat installed while using the
bios raid utility? When I try to install I get no harddisk found. I can
install fine if the disks are non raided.  

I'm trying to do this on my workstation class pc a precision 490.
