DRAC 5 keyboard repeat

Having used earlier version of DRAC successfully, we are having nothing 
but trouble with the DRAC 5s in the PowerEdge 2950. I've seen posts about 
some of the problems already (e.g. the broken plugin install procedure) 
but the no. 1 problem we have is that it is impossible to use the remote 
console due to keyboard problems.

The main thing is that the keyboard repeat rate seems messed up and things 
like this happen all the time:

# lsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

We see this in Linux and in anaconda prompts.

Does anyone else see this behaviour and does anyone have any tips to fix 
it? I just updated the DRAC firmware to the latest version but the problem 
is still there.
