Brand new 2950 Won't Boot

Look what I found:

grub> cat (hd0,0)/boot/grub/grub.conf

Error 18: Selected cylinder exceeds maximum supported by BIOS

hmm...

So I have 6x500GB disks in RAID 5.  Is that too big?
