IPMI Capabilities of PowerEdge 840

I'm looking at getting a PowerEdge 840 to go into a remote office. As I won't easily have access to the box, I'm interested in the capabilities that I can get through IPMI. (The documentation says it is IPMI version 1.5.) I've been able to figure out that I can do remote power cycling through the IPMI interface.  Does that version of the IPMI standard get me a serial over lan console? I'm new to the whole IPMI/OOB management systems, so I'm still trying to sort all this out. Thanks.
