Provided that you have the latest system BIOS, the latest LOM firmware,
and an operating system that supports it, it should be possible to
achieve iSCSI-boot with the embedded Broadcom NICs on a PowerEdge 1950.

Subject: Boot from iSCSI on PE1950 with embedded NIC Broadcom?
Dear Srs,
It's possible to configure boot from iSCSI on a PowerEdge 1950 server
with embedded NIC Broadcom? or PCIe card is needed?
I have seen a DELL's video at Youtube [1] flashing _Intel_ cards to
enable boot from a iSCSI device. Thanks!
