Unable to "un-degrade" a RAID-5 on a PERC 3/Di

Hi,

I've got a PowerEdge 2650 here with a RAID-5 on a PERC 3/Di made up of three 68.36GB disks which has degraded. The disk that was causing the issues has been repaired and is sitting in state "Ready" but I just can't seem to be able to convince the machine to rebuild the RAID-5. Instead all I seem to be able to do (using Server Administrator 5.1.0, with the server running RHEL 3) is set the repaired disk to be a Dedicated Hot Spare. Everything I have read online seems to suggest that setting the disk to a dedicated hot spare would trigger the server to rebuild the RAID-5, a process which should take a few hours, but it has now been in this state for three or four days with no change.

Does anyone know how I can convince this machine to restore itself to a full RAID-5 again?

Thanks in advance for any help.
