ESX on PowerEdge 1850 - install fails the second time

Krishnaprasad,

We are trying to install ESX 3.5, and our firmware was 522A.  I just
read the release notes for 5A2D and it mentions a problem with ESX...
"2.	Fixed issue on PERC Controllers where VMFS Volumes go missing in
VMware ESX environments after updating firmware from version 521X and
earlier to 522A
Note: Updating to (522D from a system that was installed onto 522A)
will require customers to resignature the volumes in order to have
VMware to recognize the volumes. "

So it sounds like that was it.  I'll upgrade the firmware and try again...
