OMSA 5.3 on Centos 5.1 not working?

Thats not the point. 

As long as release 5.4 isnt in the repos for yum as update I wont do a
handmade installation as that is the point about software management
tools like yum and vendors like Dell caring for their particular
repositories.

As I wrote in my second mail rebooting the server solved the issue, but
I was wondering why restarting the two omsa services did not solve it.

In fact the problem still exists and the question is which part of the
software did I forget to restart/reload? As restarting a server isn't 
always possible. In my case I was lucky that my soon-to-be-master-db-server
isn't in production yet. :)

Any suggestions?
