WriteBack on PERC 3DC solved

Actually, 198X is broken. 199A fixed a bug where VD's were being shown in Writeback mode despite being in write through.

Answer: FW ver. 198X works fine.

Yes, my PERC is also equipped with BBU but since I use the machine as a
workstation it is disconnected. The power on-off cycle is typically few
hours, way too short to charge the battery. In fact it is not even Dell
machine. In my PE4400 server I'm using PERC 3/Di at the moment.

The _only_ way of upgrading FW/BIOS I'm using if bootable floppy.
