perc 3/Si on PE2450 can't rebuild a raid1 volume

Hi,

  on raid1.I have a old PE2450 with a PERC 3/Si RAID controller and two 
36Gb drives  The exact raw capacity of the old drives is 34.25Gb
1 of these drives just died, so I replaced it by a new one but the 
rebuild failed !

I wonder the cause of this is the new drive have a raw capacity of 
33.92Gb, so it is a little bit smaller than the old one, and then it 
miss less than a megabyte to archieve the exact mirroring ?

My question is how could I resize the raid volume and then safely 
rebuild the raid1 volume ?
