You can't run a consistency check because the SAS 5/iR does not support
one. OMSA will only monitor a SAS 5/iR it will not allow you to perform
any configuration.

Subject: "No Task Available"
Relatively newbie Linux user here, please bear with me.
Have CentOS 5.0 x64 installed on a Poweredge 860. Running a SAS 5/ir
RAID card, RAID1 created in the card's setup. Using whichever
default/kernel driver CentOS chose for the card. (Could someone tell me
how to check the SAS driver?)
Installed OMSA 5.2.0 from the yum repository. All seems fine, I can
login and check information. However, when I navigate to the virtual
disk, the drop-down shows "No Task Available", so I cannot run a
consistency check.
Any thoughts on why? Maybe because I don't have the SPECIFIC Dell
driver installed?
Here is some info from within OMSA if it helps...
Firmware Version
00.10.49.00.06.12.02.00
Driver Version
3.04.02
Thank you for your time.
ADAM
