If you are on one of the older firmwares for the controller, you may not
have the functionality of Patrol Read. This will scan the physical disks
in the background and recover any bad blocks that could be affecting the
data set. Here's the documentation...

I'd ensure that this is enabled.

Well it's not had power loss this year and the errors have only started
happening in the last two weeks.
Are there any diagnostics I can run?
