Pe 1950 and missing ram

  That's weird. I see a similar problem with 4Gb RAM on Debian with a 32-bit kernel - dmesg says:


  Warning only 4GB will be used.
  Use a PAE enabled kernel.
  3200MB HIGHMEM available.
  896MB LOWMEM available.


  On a box with 6Gb and a 64-bit kernel:


  6016MB HIGHMEM available.
  896MB LOWMEM available.


  Are you using a 32-bit kernel? Easy mistake - I accidentally ran an 1850 with a non-smp kernel for a few months before I noticed I was down 3 cores... Duh!
