Pe 1950 and missing ram

Hi

i have a Pe 1950 with 4 gb of ram on Centos 5.0 but it show only 3290Mb

             total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached
Mem:          3290       2951        338          0        169       1110
-/+ buffers/cache:       1672       1618
Swap:         8001        128       7872


dmidecode | grep 1024

        ROM Size: 1024 kB
        Size: 1024 MB
        Size: 1024 MB
        Size: 1024 MB
        Size: 1024 MB

this problem is present only on centos 5, previus release show full ram range
