ITAssistant not able to detect Fedora 7 (F7) box using SNMP and OMSA 5.2 installed

I am using Fedora 7 (F7) on DELL PowerEdge 860 with OMSA 5.2

Thanks to this mailing list, I have done all below.

1.   wget http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/bootstrap.cgi
2.   Modify bootstrap.cgi
3.   ./bootstrap.cgi
4.   Modify /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/dellsysidplugin.conf
5.   getSystemId
6.   Modify /etc/yum.repos.d/dell-hw-specific-repository.repo
6a   ??? yum install net-snmp
7.   yum install srvadmin-all
8.   srvadmin-services.sh start
9.   Access https://Fedora7Box:1311 no problem
10.  Set ITAssistant server IP address and community name on
https://Fedora7Box:1311 

However, my ITAssistant server was not able to detect the Fedora 7 Box.

It appears there must be something wrong with my SNMP set up.  
Here is the result of # ps auxw | grep snmp

I have got a few questions about SNMP setup for the LINUX box.

Q1.  Do I need to install/start net-snmp at all?
     It appears I am duplicating snmp because net-snmp was not able to
start/stop properly while dsm_sa_snmp32d is already started.
     # service snmpd stop
     Stopping snmpd:                                       [FAILED]
     # service snmpd start
     Starting snmpd:                                       [  OK  ]
     # service snmpd status
     snmpd dead but subsys locked
Q2.  Do I need to install/start snmptrapd at all?

Q3.  I saw there are many articles on the Internet that mention about
modifying snmpd.conf to change the community name in order to get DELL
ITAssistant to detect the server.
     Is this procedure really required since I have already set this up
in DELL OMSA online?

Has anyone encountered this problem before?
