DTK 2.1 vs DTK 2.3

So this is a little odd; in my setup (dell 2950 with fedora core 6) I don't
have access to the same commands from syscfg found with in DTK 2.3 vs. what
I get with DTK 2.1 (things like being able to set bios redirection):
Any ideas here?
