AACRAID Issue on Dell 2650 RHEL3 update 6

All,

Dell 2650 servers running Redhat 3 update 6 w/AACRAID driver are performing
poorly -- High I/O wait, system sluggishness/non-responsiveness with disk
access. This problem can be duplicated with this command dd if=/dev/zero
of=testfile bs=1G count=10. I have attached the top output below. At
present we are not in position to upgrade the Kernel.

I have tried to resolve this issue by disabling the Hyper threading and
changing the PERC card settings to WRITE_BACK and CACHED_IO from the default
WRITE_THRU and Direct_IO.

*Please help me to reslove this isse ***

Here are my server details.
