Let me try to explain what we would like to achieve with the
PowerConnect 6248 switch: we'd use it for an iSCSI SAN, we would
connect the iSCSI array (EqualLogic) to one of the ports on the
PowerConnect switch and a few PowerEdge servers to other ports on the
switch.
We'd like to use the PVLAN support to limit the servers to only
connect to the iSCSI array and prevent any of them to connect to the
other servers in the SAN for security reasons.
