racadm is your man.. you can batch numerous DRACs too.. (comes as part
of OMSA)
it's your choice, but my experience with OMSA on ESX is not the
sweetest, make sure your console has plenty of RAM, minimum 386 if not
more, as the OMSA install and daemons run in this memory space, which is
intended only for ESX host management.. minimise the install, drop the
web interface for example.. you may need to open port 1311 for the web
GUI if you decide to use it
most importantly, update ESX to the max..

Hi,
If you know DRAC IP address, u can get into DRAC
webpage and can change configurations. Otherwise u can install Dell
OpenManage management software and use racadm CLI utility.

We've got a poweredge 2950 that's in production so we have to schedule
downtime to have it rebooted. Unfortunately we need to make some changes
to it's DRAC configuration. Can we do this without shutting the machine
down? It's running vmware ESX.
