configuring MegaMon notifications

Hi everybody,
I have a couple of poweredge 1850 running linux for which I would like
to monitor the raid status.
I have installed Megamon and it is working (sending out notifications
when a drive is removed/degraded) but it is way too verbose to be
workable for my needs. Right now I am getting a notification every two
minutes or so that the array is rebuilding with the progress percentage.
All I care about is to know if the array is degraded, rebuilding or
completed and back online. These messages would then be sent via sms to
the sysadmin on duty so the he can take action if a drive needs to be
replaced.
Trying to find documentation for Megamon has been so far fruitless. The
readme.txt only contains installation instructions, the megamon.conf
only mentions who should get notifications and the -help option to
Megactrl doesn't seem to have a "verbose" switch.

Ideally I would like to only receive messages such as :

[11/16/2007 (12:51:59)]:
Adapter 0 Logical Drive 0 is DEGRADED.

and

[11/16/2007 (12:57:59)]:
	Adapter 0 Channel 0 Target 1:
  	Physical Drive[]is Changed to REBUILD.

Is there any documentation for megamon? Does anyone know how to
configure megamon to do this?

Much obliged for any help,
