We use Dell/EMC Clariions with PE1855 and 1955's with san adapters. Some are
running debian etch. Access to the luns works without any problem. You need to
install multipath-tools (from debian) to enable load-balancing and failover
between paths and controllers. We don't install any Dell or EMC software on
the servers.
