Dell PowerEdge + Dell EMC SAN with Debian (Etch)

Hi all,

I want to build a SAN infrastructure and talked to Dell about a solution
with PE1955 and DELL EMC components.

Our preferred Linux distribution is Debian Etch. So i am interessted
whether someone has successfully build such a configuration and in
exchanging expierences.

I am even interessted whether someone has bought DELL PE and Dell EMC
components in conjunction with Debian, because my Dell representatives
refused to sell the components when we will use Debian. They told me the
only chance to buy Dell/EMC with Linux is to choose a distribution like
Redhat or SUSE.
