2161DS Console Switch cable length restrictions

I'm reading that the Dell 2161DS KVM switches have a maximum distance between 
Server and Switch of 10m, using Cat5 cabling.

Is there any way of boosting the signal strength to overcome this limitation, 
or (alternatively), can anyone recommend a KVM device with remote IP support, 
that supports upto 50m between server and switch?

I need to support both Dell and Non-Dell hardware, so I can't exclusively use 
DRAC cards, which is how I'd usually get round this.
