Fedora 4.0 - PE SC440. Does not detect the network card

I experinced the same problem installing Ubuntu 6.0 on an SC440 system 
and I was not able to start the Broadcom Xtreme card. The only solution 
I found was the installation of a standard network card.

Then, installing Fedora core 6.0 I solved all problems.
