Yeah, my problems were all with a squid proxy as well. :) (too
aggressively caching stuff)

Which OS are you running again? (stock EL4 or centos? which update level?)

BTW, RHEL4 update 5 was just released and it has a couple fixes for bugs
I entered with Red Hat that I found with the repos. (I have workarounds
for most of them)

Ok. Lets look at this. You should have a dir under /var/spool/up2date/
for the dell repos. What is in those dirs? (ls -lR)

I've checked the header.info on the server side and it looks fine to me.

There is a small modification to one of the python files you can do
to get more info. I'll take a look and send you something.
