Dear Richard
Thanks a lot for your help, but my main problem isn't solved. I took away
all the ipv6 addresses, but the segfault still happens when I work with
the dell snmp hardware monitoring tools.

I'm not really sure if this is a general net-snmpd problem or if it comes
from the dell monitoring tools. But it's quite clear that it appears only
with xen kernels. Probably I should post this message better to the xen
mailing list.
So, if anyone has a hint for me, how I can solve my problem, it would be a
big help for me. I tried a lot of things, but unitl now, nothing worked.
:-(
bye Philipp

Re: SNMPD segfault with CentOS5 Xen kernel
An earlier posting on the list solved the 'error on subcontainer' part
for me - Xen network scripts create duplicate IPv6 addresses.
Reassigning one of the addresses will do the trick. I did not see the
segfault part though.
